Hi my name is Xavier Collinsworth and I'm going to share my internet marketing journey with you on this blog.

I've spent more than twenty years working in the automotive industry and there wasn't a day that went by when I wasn't ready to quit.

Every day was like "Groundhog's Day". Remember that movie starring Bill Murray? Yeah, well it was just like that for what seemed like an eternity.

Now I'm not saying that I didn't have some good things happen to me in my life, but it definitely wasn't often.

My day would start around 6am with the daily reminder from my wife about how much debt we were in, followed by an unhappy commute on the subway for 45 minutes, topped off with a sarcastic "thank you for coming in today" from my jackhole boss.

You would think that after busting your hump to do a good job day in and day out that people would appreciate you... fat chance.

The only highlight of my day was the 'coffee truck' and that crook practically soaked up a quarter of my paycheck every week and the paycheck sucked to begin with.

My job consisted mostly of driving a delivery truck mixed with heavy lifting and menial paperwork. Exciting right? Yeah.... I didn't think so either.

Anyway, the worse my financial situation got the more irritated and unpleasant I became and the more irritating and unpleasant I became, the worse things got. Talk about a sick cycle of disgust. I was living it and there didn't seem to be any way out.

Many times I thought of trying to start my own business, but have you seen what the startup costs are for your average Dunkin Donuts franchise are?

I barely had two nickels to rub together, so that was the end of that daydream. All I had was this stinking job that I couldn't let go of and no way out... so I thought.

Well, let's fast forward a few years later and out of sheer desperation I started to seriously consider the possibility of trying to make money on the internet.

I studied sales page after sales page looking for something that wouldn't be too overly complicated for my simple mind. After all I wasn't interested in trying to get a college degree, I just wanted to find the fastest way to make extra money without adding to my already stressed out existence.

But I was so afraid to try anything for fear of putting myself into more debt, it took me about 2 weeks before I finally made a decision to buy a product that I thought would teach me what I needed to know.

Well, I did learn quite a bit about various aspects of internet marketing and marketing in general and that's what I'm going to share with you in the pages of this blog.

I'm happy to report that I no longer work that job, but not because I became some rich internet marketing mogul, but because I got laid off.

Although getting laid off nearly sent my stress levels through the roof, little did I know that it would be a blessing in disguise at the same time.

During the almost 1 1/2 years that I would remain out of work, I was able to learn how this internet marketing stuff works.
